My name is Pearl Apodaca. I am a CADCl and partner at Altruistic Recovery.  After battling a 30 years addiction myself, I finally made it to recovery in 2007. I decided that I wanted to help educate and empower other individuals struggling with substance use disorders to find strength to overcome addiction. I started in the this field in 2009  working as a therapeutic specialist. I wanted to learn more education on addiction so I enrolled at Treasure Valley Community to complete the addiction studies. I became an intern alcohol and drug counselor in 2014 then received my certification in 2017. I take great joy in helping others to take control of theirs lives and win in their recovery.
