Seeing my counseling clients make beneficial changes in their life, as I walk beside them in my role as their counselor, brings me great professional satisfaction. I have a psychodynamic orientation to helping others which means my clients often find it helpful to work with me on their relationships with others, the emotional root of their personal suffering or other forms of self-discovery. Through my work history in the addiction treatment field, I understand the need for integrative healthcare and am passionate about problem solving to help with that in our rural area. This includes the importance of focusing on what makes you an individual person in addition to the privacy and respect you deserve. In 2003 I completed my BS degree and expect to complete my MS in 2023.
